The goal behind our business model is to simplify renting cars for extended periods of time.  Traditionally, renting vehicles for a term of 30 days or longer was met with an expensive rental car bill, complex qualification process and a low quality vehicle.  We started with correcting those issues; with concentrating on those three very important aspects; Price, Simplicity and Quality. As long as you have a full coverage insurance policy of your own, no deposit or credit card is required to rent.  Just come in, choose your quality rental car and drive off for as long as you need the car.  We have been in business for over 20 years, having served over 500,000 satisfied customers, we continue to improve and move ahead concentrating on those same very important aspects of an honest local business; Price, Simplicity and Quality.

Our Founder, Emil Sultanov

Emil Sultanov’s journey from humble beginnings in Eastern Europe to becoming the founder of a prominent San Diego-based monthly car rental company is a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and determination. Born into a hardworking family, Emil developed a strong work ethic early on, which would serve as the foundation for his future endeavors. In 1991, seeking new opportunities, Emil immigrated to the United States with aspirations of achieving the American Dream. Settling in San Diego, he quickly adapted to his new surroundings and began exploring ways to make his mark in the business world. Drawing on his background in customer service and logistics, Emil identified a niche in the local transportation market: long-term car rentals. Understanding the needs of both residents and businesses in San Diego, he saw an opportunity to provide flexible and affordable vehicle rental solutions tailored to longer durations, a service that is still unique to the industry. In 2004, Emil Sultanov took a leap of faith and founded his own company, LONGTERMCAR, focusing exclusively on long-term car rentals. Starting with a modest fleet of vehicles and operating out of a small office, Emil poured his energy into building a business known for its reliability, personalized service, and commitment to customer satisfaction. As the business grew, Emil’s family became integral to its success, with each member contributing their expertise to different aspects of operations, from customer relations to fleet management and marketing. Emil Sultanov’s company quickly gained a reputation for its transparency, competitive pricing, and willingness to accommodate the unique needs of each customer.
